Post Care - 10 Days After Appointment
DO NOT WET BROWS/Lash Line in any way besides when they are being cleaned in the morning and evening. Make sure to keep brows dry while showering (wash hair last, keeping head tilted back so the water doesn’t run towards your brows). Wash your face in the sink, using only a damp cloth to cleanse around the brows. Normal washing routine can be used for the lower half of your face (from the eyes down).
NO SWEATING DURING THE 10 DAYS. This is to avoid an infection in the freshly tattooed area. Remember, sweat and dirt can accumulate round the brow hair. An infection can lead to scarring and low color retention. Also sweat will cause low retention.
NO RUBBING, SCRATCHING, PICKING at the area. Try to sleep on your back as much as possible. Rubbing the brows on the pillow/sheets can lead to premature fallout of the scabs and low retention.
NO SUN EXPOSURE
NO OTHER PRODUCTS ON THE BROWS and forehead area for 10 days. This includes makeup, oils, soaps, or any other products
Wet Healing Routine

Do not use a towel on your brows/lash line! Do not do any type of scrubbing motions on the treated skin during healing! Once brows are fully dried gently apply the provided healing ointment. 3. Continue Step 1 religiously throughout your whole day everyday and repeat Step 2 when needed, do this for Days 5 - 10 days or until your scabs fall off.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
- Permanent makeup (PMU) is a cosmetic treatment that involves tattooing designs to resemble makeup, such as eyebrows, eyeliner, and lip color, using pigments designed with the intent to fade over time.
-
Yes, when performed under sterile conditions by trained professionals, PMU procedures are considered safe. The pigments used are designed for micro-pigmentation and are different from regular tattoo ink, with no long-term side effects reported.
-
Generally, PMU should not hurt if a topical anesthesia is applied. Anesthetics are used for the initial pre-numb and throughout the entire procedure to ensure your comfortability.
-
PMU uses different techniques, tools, and pigments than traditional tattooing. The pigments stay in the epidermis (not in the dermis layer like body tattoos) and fade over time because the epidermis keeps growing and eventually sheds the pigment.
-
If you are under 18 years of age
If you are pregnant
If you are breastfeeding (consult with your doctor)
You have been on Accutane within 1 year
You have irritation of the skin of any kind such as blemishes, pimples, rash, psoriosis, eczema, rosacea, sunburn or irritation in/around the area of procedure. You WILL NOT be able to do the procedure until the blemish or area of concern is completely healed or the mole is removed and healed.
-
If you normally pencil in your eyebrow, then yes. This will give me a good idea of your personal style. If you do not pencil them in, please just come naturally and together we can create a look that you’re comfortable with.
-
I like to answer this as “Yes & No”. Think of PMU like permanent hair color, there are some colors that will dissipate on their own and others that will take a while longer.
All PMU will fade over time. "Permanent Makeup" comes from the particles in the pigment, some stay in your skin for a really long time, once deposited and other particles fade off quicker.
PMU will start to fade the moment you get it done because as the skin cells shed and regenerate, the pigment will surface and eventually fade out. It is recommended to get touch-ups for PMU to maintain its natural look every 12 to 14 months.
Many clients ask "how will I know when I should get them done again?"... the answer is "you'll know...!" You will grow increasingly frustrated at the lack thereof and you'll find that you're back to filling them in again. Usually after the first round, you'll get an idea of your body's cycle and how often you prefer to come in.

The natural appearance of PMU depends on the client’s desires and the artist’s talent. Clients can opt in for a look that mimics their regular makeup, or go for something more bold.
